I am a Pennsylvania native, growing up in the northeastern corner in the town of Honesdale. I spent my childhood on a dairy farm, where I was able to have and care for animals of all different species. I knew from a young age that I was destined to be a veterinarian, always wanting to care for any animals that were sick on the farm. I attended Delaware Valley University, and obtained a B.S. in both Large Animal Science and Dairy Science. In May of 2012 I received my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, CA.
I have practiced mixed animal medicine since graduating. Always striving to improve myself and my medicine, I decided to obtain my certification in both Veterinary Chiropractic and Veterinary Acupuncture. These methods allow me to have an integrative approach to the patients that are entrusted in my care. I have seen remarkable improvements in many animals that received these alternative approaches. I am constantly trying to advance my knowledge and help my patients with new treatments.
I currently reside in Fayetteville, PA. I live with my significant other (Dan), 2 dogs (Dink and Rhiannon) and a cat (Mr. Biscuits). I also have a horse (Leo) and cows. In my free time I enjoy horseback riding, running and kayaking.
